In Japanese character, it is 「猫撫で声」 and it means "A cat who shows happiness while being caressed". In short, Sasuke sounded happy or something like a cat that purrs when caressed. Hinata held a group date in order to cooperate with Sasuke who wants to get Sakura. It's because Hinata was thinking that if Sasuke gets Sakura, then she will get Menma for herself. The group date had Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata... Ino, Chouji and Shikamaru. Normally, Sakura really dislikes Sasuke and rather likes Menma so Sasuke wants to get her, but once he does, it will be game over. Ino, Chouji and Shikamaru knew this so they came with them, especially Ino who wants Sakura to be happy. She doesn't want her to get with Sasuke, who has many other girls and will surely break Sakura's heart.

Sasuke got punched by Hinata after telling her that he accepts her feelings.
On the meantime, Sakura said she was surprised that Sasuke and Hinata went off but then she had fun too. Ino(who is back to herself) told Sakura that she'd always wish for her happiness. Sakura then said her goodbye to Ino, Chouji and Shikamaru as she had promised to meet with Menma.

Naruto then started teasing Sasuke what happened to him and that he looked like he was punched by some outrageous strength. With this, Sasuke cut his words off telling him to shut up and to leave him alone. Sasuke walked off by his own as Naruto was left to himself, thinking that everyone in that world changed, except for Sasuke.
